Privacy at Quorilume
Privacy Policy
A clear account of how the operator-supervised experience uses the camera, handles local photos, and responds to privacy requests.
1. Who we are
Quorilume is operated by Anton Zelinskyi, Czech sole trader (OSVČ), IČO 17475911. For privacy questions and requests, contact quorilume@gmail.com.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy explains what happens to information when a visitor voluntarily uses the operator-supervised Quorilume augmented-reality photo experience at an event. It also explains the limited technical operation of this website.
The event organiser may separately process attendee information, event photography, or a copy of a photo it receives. Any such activity is governed by the organiser’s own notices and the arrangements stated for that event.
3. How the experience works
An on-site Quorilume operator controls the session from a Quorilume-owned Android device. Visitors see the live camera output and an augmented-reality effect on an external display. A visitor or the operator initiates a photo only after the visitor has chosen to participate. The result is shown in Preview.
Participation is voluntary and is not a condition of entering the event or using unrelated services from the event organiser.
4. Camera and augmented-reality processing
The camera processes a live image so that the visitor can be shown on the external display and the selected effect can be positioned in real time. Quorilume does not use facial recognition, create face templates, or use the camera to identify a visitor.
Quorilume uses Snap Camera Kit to provide augmented-reality effects. Camera Kit is third-party technology and processes technical data involved in applying an effect under Snap’s own terms and privacy materials. Quorilume does not claim that Camera Kit operates entirely offline.
Before interacting with a Lens, the visitor must separately review and accept the Camera Kit terms presented through the SDK-owned legal prompt. If the visitor declines, the Lens cannot be activated. Quorilume does not change that prompt or accept Snap’s terms on the visitor’s behalf.
You can read Snap’s Privacy Policy and Snap’s Terms.
5. What Quorilume stores
When a photo is created, Quorilume may store:
- the resulting JPEG photo;
- a random session identifier;
- an event or project identifier;
- capture time and a technical file reference;
- the applicable notice version and confirmation time;
- the selected age path; and
- the delete-after time and the Camera Kit terms state exposed by the supported SDK flow.
Quorilume does not create a visitor account or record a visitor’s name, email address, phone number, signature, date of birth, identity document, face template, precise location, audio, or video as part of the current service.
6. Why the photo is created
The photo is created and briefly retained to provide the AR photo experience requested by the visitor and to deliver the result in the way stated for the event. Quorilume relies on the visitor’s informed and unambiguous consent for this voluntary capture and retention. That consent is separate from acceptance of the Camera Kit terms.
A visitor may decline to participate or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect handling that was already completed before the request, but Quorilume will act on a valid deletion request where the photo can still be found safely.
7. Local storage and retention
The resulting JPEG is stored locally on a Quorilume-controlled Android device. The current service does not upload captured photos to Quorilume cloud storage, Google Drive, or another cloud photo service.
Quorilume deletes a photo as soon as the agreed delivery is complete where operationally practical and, in every case, no later than seven days after capture. A verified early-deletion request overrides the scheduled deadline.
8. Who may receive a photo
A photo may be available to:
- the visitor shown in the photo;
- an authorised Quorilume operator; and
- the event organiser only where this is expressly stated for that event.
Quorilume does not use a visitor photo for marketing, social media, advertising, or public publication without a separate permission.
9. Website privacy
This website does not use visitor accounts, contact forms, analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or non-essential cookies. It does not store photos or collect information through a backend. If you contact Quorilume by email, your email provider and Quorilume’s email provider will process the message in the ordinary way needed to deliver and answer it.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
You may ask for access to a photo Quorilume still holds, withdraw consent, or request early deletion by emailing quorilume@gmail.com.
Because Quorilume does not record visitor identity, include the event, the approximate capture time, and a copy or Preview of the photo if available. Quorilume may request only the additional information needed to locate the correct photo and avoid disclosing or deleting another person’s image.
Valid requests are handled without undue delay and normally within one month. If the photo has already expired, Quorilume will explain that it is no longer held. You may also make a complaint to the Czech Data Protection Authority (ÚOOÚ).
11. Age
The experience is intended for visitors aged 13 or older. In the Czech operating flow, a visitor aged 13–14 may participate only with confirmation from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 must not use the experience.
12. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated before Quorilume materially changes how the experience handles camera data or photos. The effective and last-updated dates at the top identify the published version.
